I mean you're not wrong, but in the context of Ferguson and Michael Brown and Darren Wilson and the ongoing media shitstorm, focusing on white America and the orders of magnitude by which our particular brand of racism extends over most other types of racism in the developing world is not missing the target.

And if people like derpcake actually said the same things in real life as they do under the anonymity of internet message boards, the problem would be so much easier to manage. We would know who the enemies are. We would know precisely where the problem is, even if we don't know quite how to deal with it yet. If people were actually that honest about their racism, I doubt we'd have much of a problem at all.

Well if people were just honest in general it would make life easier, and make a lot of problems go away. But the general attitude of humanity currently is one of selfishness and anonymity. The media plays of that and gets people riled up about issues that they can't control. That's when the real racism bears its head. Then everyone starts finger pointing at everyone and everything that they can use as a scapegoat for their own personal agendas.
Some people want blacks and Mexicans and welfare recipients to be targeted. Some want white people and the upper middle/upper class targeted. Some just want to steal and riot and shoot. And every one of them is being manipulated into that absolute way of thinking. And they find their media outlets that promote their side of the argument. And the other side finds their media outlets that promote their arguments. And everyone just sits around calling each other idiots and racists, propagating the very same attitude and actions that they claim they want to have go away.

Its sad.
