![]() With the changes to the Darkness of the game in the latest patch I figured it might be helpful to know who has what Vision related buffs.
Each Vision buff gives one of two possible benefits: Infravision - Allows you to see light in the Infra red range of the spectrum. Ultravision - Allows you to see site in the Ultra Violet range of the spectrum. (Night Vision) I left out buffs that only provide a single effect such as See Invisible, Magnify, Bind Sight, etc. Bard: 24 Lyssa's Veracious Concord See Invisibility, Ultravision (Party) Enchanter: 12 Serpent Sight Infravision (Target) 20 Shifting Sight Bind sight with Infravision (Self) 29 Ultravision Ultravision (Target) 34 Cast Sight Bind sight with Ultravision (Target) Magician: 34 Summon Shard of the Core Summons 'Summoned: Shard of the Core' which as +15 PR, +15CR, and Ultravision Necromancer: 8 Deadeye See invisible with Infravision (Self) 24 Shadow Sight Ultravision (Self) 55 Skin of the Shadow Invisible with Ultravision and Magnification. Only works at night (Self) Ranger: 30 Eyes of the Cat Infravision (Self) 56 Chill Sight Ultravision (Self) Shadowknight: 22 Deadeye See invisible with Infravision (Self) 49 Shadow Sight Ultravision (Self) Shaman: 9 Serpent Sight Infravision (Target) 29 Ultravision Ultravision (Target) 39 Assiduous Vision Invisible with Ultravision and Magnification. (Self) 56 Acumen Infravision with Decrease Stamina loss and See Invisible (Target) Wizard: 16 Heat Sight Infravision (Self) 29 Magnify Ultravision and Maginigication (Self) 39 ChillSight Ultravision (Self) 39 Shifting Sight Bind sight with Infravision (Target) 55 Plainsight See Invisible with Ultravision (Target) Check the Races wiki page to see which classes get what type of Enhanced vision (if any). http://wiki.project1999.com/Character_Races | ||

![]() Yea the buffs make no difference on the beta server that's why no one can see, it's not cause we are too dumb to use them.

Make sure advanced lighting is ticked? It seems buggy. Certainly works for me, though.

![]() I checked that, and halfling racial, tcrown, and druid epic all don't change vision/light at all for me.

![]() I was getting positive results from some clickies. I'm not sure what would cause some to have this and some not, but even a torch seemed to work properly for me. Particularly used the guise in most cases though.

![]() lighting has always been shit on this client
I would need to have advanced lighting to show light sources, and sometimes it would just break, sometimes it works without it, etc hell even spam equip/unequip light items would eventually break them (they'd either stop giving light or be stuck on light) Quote:
try a greater lightstone or a torch or something, maybe epic is bugged or something

![]() I got a small improvement from using my dark elf mask, not enough to make me want to put up with the darkness though.
This was a nice attempt at getting a classic feature in, but it's not practical to keep implemented. It really does ruin the gaming experience and needs to be revisited quickly.
