Try dueling someone or playing on red and standing directly in front of them and only hitting bash on cooldown and see how many spells you interrupt.

In fairness, red isn't worth testing anything on with the amount of custom code they have.

Oh yea there was also that weird pvp code that gave each melee hit a 5% chance to interrupt a spell, not sure if Haynar took it out last patch or not, but I guess bash could interrupt from that as well.

Furthermore bash will often interrupt any caster even if it does not stun them. The two components of bash seem to be completely separate rolls

That is not how it worked in classic or how it works here. Unless you have any evidence to post I'm not sure why you keep posting misinformation.
Literally no one would make an Ogre Shaman if bash worked the way you claim.

That's how it works on both. Frontal stun immunity is still king. A stun will interrupt you.

I started a troll shm (for the regen and clicky snare neck) on Fippy, and then race changed to Ogre during SoL or PoP. I can tell you with 100% certainty that frontal stun immunity did cut down on interrupts. In fact, it made a HUGE difference. I am not saying there was any content that I could not do as a troll that I could do as an ogre, just that the frequency of interrupts was greatly reduced after I switched to an ogre.
The caveat is that this was on Fippy, and the casting mechanics on P99 are different.
