I know what you mean about keeping a name... I started the world famous Snugglebunny in Asheron's Call back in 2000 and have used that name in many games since. Alas, it was taken here.

It was a hoot: In AC1, when you killed a mob, a text message would go something like - "Snugglebunny sends MobXXX to the lifestone". Conversely, if you died, it would say "Lugian Titan beats Snugglebunny to a pulp".
