![]() Wind tore at the the walls of the large hut. These Northern Men sleep like savages with no door to keep out a draft. It took several checks to find a bed, most rooms containing nothing more than an animal's hide draped on the cold floor. A hardy folk indeed...

![]() I was weary from my journey from the Northern mountains, laden with the trinkets and weapons of slain foes. Such things seem to fetch a good price in the Human city. The grass below my feet felt soft and welcoming, unlike the volcanic ash that still clung to my pant-legs. The setting Star was so striking I had to sit and observe it's recession...

![]() My cloak did little to keep me dry in the pelting rain. Soaked to the skin, I came across a small encampment of Humans making their stead by a river. Just a few buildings in all, but each one had exactly what I coveted: A roof.
