![]() While logging into a character camped in The Overthere zone:
"Pain and suffering strike you for 20000 points. You died." What is being done about this issue? The corpse was not fully looted in case a GM resurrection is available. I reported the matter to my guild and they instructed me to send a petition but no one has gotten in touch.

![]() Do you have a location of where the body was when you died?
What area of the zone were you in otherwise? Did you camp with a levitation spell on? Did you have /log running to see what happened? You haven't provided very much information for devs to even begin investigating or replicating whatever issue it may be. You would be better off just asking a cleric to 96% rez you.

![]() I will get the /loc of the occurrence. It was on the wall towards the top edge by the waterhole. The Warslik Woods zone line is fairly close.
And what do you mean where was I otherwise? I was pulling to the wall to avoid adds, and when it was time to camp I moved up a bit (to be safe when I logged back in which is very ironic don't you think?) Another player saw where I camped out and was puzzled by the death as much as me. I did not have levitate on, it doesn't last long enough to be of much value when doing actual "combat." It is far too late for a player's assistance with a 96% resurrection even if I could talk one into helping me, it is quite a hike. Also, I do not run /log. Guess I shall begin now [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

![]() I am not making this up. I have never had this happen before and after the initial shock wore off, I began trying to get GM assistance while all the details were fresh in my mind.

![]() I was asking where you might have been otherwise in case you did not have the /loc or had moved the corpse, so the devs could possibly begin to figure out what happened.
You probably just camped out too high on the zone wall and when logging back in the game tried to drop you into the same spot and took too long while loading so the server thought you were falling causing the falling damage. You probably won't get a tell if the GMs are going to answer your in game petition. Usually corpses that get res'd/recovered will get summoned to EC and res'd there. Someone had a similar thing in West Commons, but doesn't seem anything was done in regards to it. http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=155413 Turn your logging on via the EQclient.ini file and set the line "Log=FALSE" to "Log=TRUE". It will run logs automatically without the need to /log each time you log in. For future reference, most players over level 50 on P99 have Overthere hammers, so it isn't a hassle for most clerics as they can instantly port there.

![]() The corpse fell under the surface so yes, I had to use /corpse to even find it. I am guessing no one will help?

![]() By the way, I would not ask a player for this resurrection because I feel it is a bug and should be addressed by the p99 staff

![]() You just have to wait. There are only like 4 people that handle GM matters.

![]() To be honest, logging in to a random fall to your death, is in fact classic.
This bug is typically due to the client. We cannot fix it. We already bump up your z slightly on zone in. Your zone s3d files may not match what was used to build the zone. Next time I would petition, rather than post in bugs with comments like "What is being done about this issue?" To answer your question concerning what is being done about the bug? Nothing. I did not search for your petition, but I do not handle those. H
