I get why Pete Carroll is getting burned by that passing call but it is only getting so much criticism because it had the worst possible outcome. What was it, 2nd down? They had 3 chances to get a couple yards but probably only enough time on the clock for 2 runs and 1 pass play with 1 timeout left.
Russell should have been more sure of his pass and just thrown it away if there was any question but that is a tough split second decision to make. It was a good hard fought interception. | ||
