It's an interesting idea, but I'll give you 4 reasons why this won't work, Hyjal.

1. It still encourages zerging- numbers matter in a dps race so how does that solve the "50 neckbeards" problem?

2. It eliminates the engage, which is a pretty major skill check in a lot of fights. Especially in Velious, successful pulls are an integral part in the tactics required for a lot of the fights. Negating that further dumbs down the engages and makes the game, going back to point 1, a mindless zerg fest.

4. Related to number 2 but separate, it negates pulling classes. Why even bother having monks, shadowknights, and necros? Someone else can deal with getting the mob, someone from one of the other guilds. In fact, why even have warriors? Someone from another guild can tank it, we're just here to dps it down and get more points. It becomes a weird kind of cold war where everyone is seeing if they can get away with having 0 tanks, 0 pullers, even 0 healers because if someone else is doing those jobs, we may as well have player X play his rogue instead of his warrior, right? I'd hate to be in a raid with nothing but rogues. Gross.

Or maybe we are created equal and over time we're just better than the rest of you. Something like that.

I'm happy that you're happy to be in my thread Keke. Thank you for participating. The question is, are you capable or contributing a coherent thought worth while that might actually help the server? Doubtful.

I ignored all the text when I realised Hyjal is a triple poster.

5/10 effort.
7/10 retardation.
2/10 lols.
0/10 math.

Must try harder.

Keke,

You will always need batphoners. That is just the nature of the beast, but it will cut down on the amount of people needed to be readily available (being online staring at monitor) to "race" to javelin a target. Also, high end raiding guilds are not limited to only using monks, SK's, or Necros for pulls. And numbers don't matter as much either. You only need 1 strong KS group (6 members) to pull off killing a target. It actually negates the zerg mentality....

Also, How would KS groups dumb down pulls and engages? As it stands right now, the first guild to touch the mob and kite is as long as humanely possible without GM's suspending them is the name of the game. Use Severilous for instance. People pull him all the way to Trakanon zone line. That is a 5 minute pull. How is that not already dumbed down? Stalling using CH items is also vigorously usedon Venril Sathir and other targets.

Having a properly prepared puller to not lose aggro on a pull, raid placement, and KS groups would definitely not "dumb down" anything.

Cecily, you can have them parked at every target, at every window, at all times? I doubt it.

So a guild mustering a 6-people KS group could piggyback on a raid without tanking/pulling? Who gets the lockout?
1- this idea is terrible
2- pure RNF material
4- when do you get one raid target?

God do you really want to be in there for 12 hours to kill one dragon again though? KS for loots is cool but training in vp, naw.
