what makes pvp teams so much fun is that it is not balanced, and the most successful guild would almost certainly be cross-team.

i dont care about velious, honestly it should be released as it is right now and fixed later (like kunark was) and then reset the server once everything is in order (or don't, it doesn't matter).

if you have hardcoded race teams then human team will dominate, the end. i don't understand your logic that having only 2-3 guilds fighting for power is somehow enabled by taking away cross teaming. hardcoded teams basically would split our already low population into 4 seperate servers.

what live never really did was give incentive to stay within your team. my perfect server would be race teams pvp that allowed crossteaming, but groups with only their team got a group xp bonus or something along those lines.
