Mask of Deception Acquisition

I did a few weeks ago. No mobs saw through my see invis. The one exception is the assassin himself. Toggle camera view on the ladder to see if he's up. If he's got a dagger there is no mask. Took me about two days to get a mask but the couple days after I know numerous ones rotted. This was all on red. Remember to sneak hide after zoning in. I prefer the waterfall root as no mobs were by ZL. Good Luck!

Btw the safe spot to camp is in the nook next to the bottom of the ladder nearby the torch. You won't get argo form the wandering mobs.

More like, trouble in paradise. I must be cursed. So assassin had popped and a guy go the mask, before turning camp over to me. So far, it's been 4 complete cycles of spawns, no assassin or supplier. I'm cursed.

I fell in the trap while sneak/hid and the King/guards did not aggro me. I can't say the same about the Queen but my assumption is the same.
I think the dogs are the only thing you have to worry about in that zone.

For me, the dogs did not aggro straight away. They even conned indifferent at first (I think sneak still works) until I tried walking in front of one. In any case, you can often sit in a corner and wait (as long as the group doesn't wipe or drag an AoE-casting mob too close to you) until one of the wizards (and this is Chardok, there will be wizards) wants to port out.

But you will get aggro from monks using FD...

I went down the ramp and sat out of sight of that corridor; you will see the combat spam even from the floor below and can come back up to investigate after you see the 'X has killed a Ghoul Assassin' message.
