What do you think we did up there? We basically beta tested the higher islands of Sky since the real beta test of sky didn't go very far, yet people attack us like it was our fault mobs weren't tuned correctly...I can assure you, they were still VERY difficult and we petitioned anything we could find whether is was too easy or too hard.

In case you forgot, we also had to fight mobs that were HARDER than supposed to be.

So basically, unless you were in the raid that went up there, you have NO idea what went on or what the mobs were like and should keep your ignorant comments to yourself.
My comment had nothing to do with you or your guild man. I was responding to Pheer claiming that a level 28 should have no idea what raid content is like on the server. You missed the point.

That being said and since you are the one bringing it up, you also had your fair share of easy mode mobs in the early days of the server, let's not kid ourselves here. None of the bosses where doing what they were supposed to back when you and trans started farming them. All those early raid encounters had to be tuned to become more difficult, not the other way around.

But like I said, nobody is talking about that now so I don't know why you brought it up.

Speaking of, just out of curiosity really, how were the mobs tuned when Sky first came out? As a guild we took advantage of DA and IB both being up there so we didn't seriously start hitting it until things were adjusted. Like for example Spiroc has be brought up before, he hits now for a max of 350 and is hasted. How'd you guys kill him before if he was actually hitting harder (Not starting shit, genuinely curious)?
I believe this was before mage pets were nerfed, actually the pet nerf and the Lord fix happened around the same time. So petting Lord down significantly wasn't an issue, especially with the number of pets they had available. Just a guess.

Spiroc lord was hitting harder, but the DPS output was relatively the same. I've spoken to an old IB member who had the parsed data and we were comparing. Needless to say it wasn't much of a difference, particularly when you take into account the double-bladed 6+ swing spiroc who sucks donkeyballs...

You can claim you've had it hard, but that argument won't work with a guild that's been here for longer than 2-3 months and members who date back to when the server started. Quit being defensive, quit spewing shit and let's speak the truth here.

I can assure you, Lord's dps was too high to 'pet him down'. Also sorry my previous post wasn't directed at only you, more at Phoe, but still relevant with your past on this issue.

Skope, he hit for around 500, and how do you know he didn't still have the bugged attacks back then? We did kill him dual wielding back then too. Once again, unless you were there...shut up about how the mobs were.

Some of them still aren't. I recently brought it to the GM's attention that CT and Inny are not dispelling as they should, which was confirmed and probably will be changed hopefully soon.

Girth, I compared the parsed # with the post-patch Spiroc Lord which a former member of yours gave me. He was definitely there... in fact he was still tagged while he gave them to me!

We had people thinking outside the box...and I'm not sure I can give up the strat without getting into trouble(from guild, not GMs).

I will say that we did use real tanks and never any charmed mobs like some tried and still failed.

Can you confirm that it was a pre-nerf kill and that he was not dual wielding blades? If they did add the broken 6 swing AFTER the nerf, then yea it would probably be close...but we killed him post-nerf dual wielding and it was a good bit easier, though still not easy by any means.
