I no likey. I think mudflation actually polarizes markets with extremely cheap items as well as extremely expensive items. The most sought after items become ridiculously over priced because people have nothing to spend their growing piles of plat on as plat continues to pour into the economy. This raid system would exacerbate mudflation by further limiting and thereby increasing the demand for the highest end items. :/ I must vote no :/

Nice write up though ^^

I would agree with your general point about these economies, but that is why this would be limited to raid items.

It removes them from that market *somewhat*, or at least puts quirky obstacles and disincentives in how they can become part of it.

The general mudflated p99 economy is kind of fun, and it also seems to work well. But the server* flubs when it comes to raid-level items and encounters imo, and it's gotta be disrupted for the health of the server long term.
