Ironlion (on his paladin, didn't know it was him til months later) advertised in ooc as a 5 man group with space for a healer, was on my troll shaman at the time who had next to no gear...said he could get someone to port me to Gfay to head to Unrest or MM, forget which.
Ran to the WC spire, got picked up. Landed in North Karana instead, got ambushed.
The guard pathed through shortly after and got the killing blow so ended up eating an XP death.
I like him though, learnt a valuable lesson and had a laugh about it later. Bring back <Islamic State in Norrath>, miss the guy.

HPT actually pulled off the best one I've seen yet. Lvling alts in COM. Rando Mage keeps attacking our cleric. HPT throws him a random invite an he takes it. Insta sky neck clicks him out and kills him in FFA sky. Many chortles were had
