I'm sad I didn't get a chance to experience this server before it went to shit. I wanted to play classic Everquest not P99 Lawyerquest where the judge jury and executioner are biased GMs who don't even try to hide their favoritism. Truly, it's no wonder nearly every talented player has already moved on.

Where did this random shit come from? I'm all for calling out TMO for their nonsense, but this is just dumb.

The server isn't shit. The GMs are generally fair.

Server rules now dictate what spells you can and can't use while raiding. Gone too far, not classic.

Cooperation between guilds was classic. TMO never cooperated, at least not without the threat of a suspension looming. TMO is not classic.

To much GM intervention and almost no player accountability in sorting their own shit out with each other. Staff needs to stop babysitting and let the server actually be classic again. On live if u petitioned and got a response in a week, it was glorious...by that time you had already sorted your own problem out 99% of the time tho unless it was a item vanishing or something. Petitioning, lawyerquesting, etc before even attempting to talk to the other parties on here and relying on the staff to play mediator is outta control.

This is pretty much what I feel about the server. It's really not fun basically expecting to be petitioned every encounter because of some trivial nonsensical technicality that breaks one of the stupid backwards rules. The guilty until proven innocent thing is really not a big help either. Never on classic did you EVER need to constantly keep fraps loaded and logs running to have total proof of everything that transpired just so you wouldn't be suspended for trying to play the game. Shit's not classic.

I'm so very sorry to have hurt the vaginal region of some folks for being retired and posting in this thread once in the last month. But, did you ever stop to think that maybe people check back in on the forums periodically because while we're not happy with the way the server is run, we love classic Everquest, and hope that one day things will return to being classic instead of a communist shit fest run by a tyrannical police state that won't even let the player base play the game as it was designed to be played?

There's a reason it's like it is here. The prevailing mentality of most of the raiders here is "If nobody saw it, it didn't happen."
