Lurking and reading about the AoN problem for a while. One side has not many and wants them changed. Other side has a ton and doesn't want them changed. Does that about sum it up?

As far as I can tell neither reason is particularly compelling for changing something that was classic. Ultimately people come to the box for a sort of classic feel. Any change from classic should be thought about very carefully, no matter how small, or how big.

I get that the server isn't entirely classic. It can't be, but at the same time, just because 'the server isn't entirely classic' doesn't mean things should be changed willy nilly.

PVP drove absolutely no changes on EQ live. Hell, they didn't even have a beta PVP server. :P

How many mages on this server stop pvping because of the charm nerf to epic pets. This isn't classic this is classic in the eyes of players who have never played classic. Lets make this game better and remove the name plates.
