As one of the aforementioned "new player influx" I figure i'll throw in my thoughts so far. Having first played from release until Luclin P99 was the perfect vehicle to relive my "cherry pop" in the mmo experience.
Having now moved into the mid 20's as a duo with another friend and picking up a few other regular grouping pals along the way I can without doubt say its everything I remember about EQ.
The help we have received from long time players has been frequent and graciously accepted from the seed money Pentacle handed out to the cut price Nathsar Great Sword bought in EC. I would have to say our P99 experience has been better than our original release day one. Having said all that should a "fresh" server come up I would be camping the login server to redo launch properly in a heartbeat.
