Back to the topic at hand...

Does anyone else find it odd that Sirken asked Eunomia to personally handle Colgate's name change so it wouldn't seem like favoritism?

Why would it matter who handled his name change?

Not odd, but it does make a lot of sense why some people get to shit up the server with impunity, while at the same time some people are singled-out and dealt with in a draconian fashion. Clear conflict of interest.

Well I guess it depends on what people consider favoritism really.

Personally I think a player who can skype a GM or send a tell to a GM for an immediate response is favoritism.

So is ignoring one player's petition for months while addressing another player's petition immediately.

All these methods while not blatantly obvious can be used to great effect to hamper or boost a guild and it's members.

I remember during a Veeshan's Peak raid Colgate illegally called Force LNS when the guild died to PvE. The response time from sirken was under a minute and before any investigation or members of Azrael were contacted the entire Azrael raid force was death-touched.

The is a great example of how a player with direct access to a GM can be used to great effect in tipping the scales of a PvP battle.

I remember that day too. Not only access to a GM, but he has to pay to win. Is e Gong's boyfriend or something?
