IF you're getting xml error messages, it's only the beginning of your trouble IF you did not do the necessary patches after installing the game. I installed Titanium using another guide and that site did not instruct to do the patches and had these problems.

As stated the lifts issue is not related to this, happens to everyone. Just click it three or four times and it should work
