Default Paladin Newbie Armor Quest

Hi! I want to do the Qeynos Karana Paladin (Rainkeeper) Armor quest which is listed in ZAM and also EQ Traders http://www.eqtraders.com/articles/ar...r=120070000000, but the NPC that I need to find is not there any more. His name is Miltiades Tal'Azroth and he should be in the Knights of Thunder Paladin guildhall in South Qeynos. Is there another NPC who will give me this quest?
Thanks for any tips and I am greatly enjoying coming back to the original EQ - and the people are so friendly. I've lost count of the number of people who have given me buffs!
Thanks

I doubt that newbie armor is available on p1999. I'm not sure though, but stats are too good for the required items.
This Looks like post-Luclin or smth.

If you want PoP era content like newbie armor quests you will have to play at P2002 instead of P99. Although a set of banded you can buy for less than 100pp will have higher AC than the newbie armor.

I heard Takp is a good alternative to p2002.

If you want armour you have to work for craft some patchwork.

Default Dust off that needle...

Thanks guys for the advice. I guessed it might have something to do with later extensions. And I didn't even know P2002 or The Al'kabor Project existed - but I'm sticking with P1999! So its Patchwork kit for me for the time being. Time to get sewing...

Use P99 Wiki. The information there is a little more relevant to...P99.
ZAM and EQtraders are not for P99.
