i've seen motivated people come in to the game recently, get to level 60, and start raiding. i even saw a guy do it with a warrior as his first character. it is possible.

A guy I know who started a few months back just helped take out Tormax in Kael on launch day. Put in the time and it will happen.

It's worth reading your posts every day to see what crazy gif you got rolling at the bottom. Flaming Blond Beauty Queen is priceless!

The red experience puts the fear of god in ya!

I started in May as monk, not played on P99 before. I'm now lvl 60 with epic and in the guild Forsaken doing server firsts in NTOV. It's all in your mind and all about how much you want it.

Good luck.
Who are you, a motivational speaker or something? Is your char named Tony Robbins?

realistically, op, unless you are Mr. "If you will it is no dream" above, it normally takes time -- months, not weeks -- to build a character, a bank, a reputation, make friends, and so forth. The happy news is, the journey is fun if you like this gameworld. If you don't like this game world, you really won't enjoy the end content anyway, so why bother?

learn how to necro-heal and join groups. everyone loves a necro that doesnt just med all the time, and in a group you can go after bigger targets.. thus yielding more xp for your pool

also, this.

At end game, you can either farm plat to get high end items items, or you can contribute a great deal to one of the zerg guilds dominating the server. Whichever you decide is more fun is the route you should take. However, in Velious, most of the high-end items are no drop, so you aren't really able to do the first option as much unlike Kunark.

the bard in Feerrott drops decent money. If you can't get on the treant list. If you haven't, look up Sesserdrix's Necro guide. you might have to be a little creative with finding a spot though. Grouping is also an option, just don't feel bad if you can't find one...(MM/Unrest)

What everyone says is true. You just have to decide how much time you want to put in.

Could always try the sister hut in Ocean of Tears, but I don't know if a necro can sell to the dwarf merchant there.
