Druid WL, CS, GD portals were added to WL vendor in the January 17, 2001 patch. (See below.) Verant/SOE claimed the wizard vendor existed at the same time, but was not actually added to game until January 24, 2001. (See links above.)

Not sure about this guy's claim on ancient wurms. Saw some other comments that they could drop spells too.

These are the locations of the new spells:

1. Iceclad gate/ports: SRo DE gypsies.
2. 1 or 2 each of the new spells for each class: Gnome camp in Iceclad.
3. Cleric(and possibly paladin) spells: Chapel in Thurgadin.
4. So far as anyone has been able to determine, the only place the rest of
the spells drop is:

Camping the GUARDIAN wurms in the wurm tunnel near Thurgadin. I camped these
guys one of the first days, and yes, the spells did only drop off the
guardians. Ancients and Elders do NOT drop spells, at least not as long as
we were there. An uberguild came in and killed the BroodMother, and she
didn't drop spells. I got WL portal and Enticement of Flame(SWEET spell) in
just a couple hours, along with a couple other spells, Pal and Necro.

Two spawns for the whole dang server...typical Verant. Be forewarned that
this location is now very likely to be evercamped by your server's
uberguilds, for precisely this reason.

The Druid's Grove has thread titles saved @ Archive.org, unfortunately the individual thread links don't work, but we can glean enough info just from the titles to know that these portals were not previously available on vendors. Dates quoted are dates of last comment in the thread.

In P99, they drop off ancient wurms. Confirmed
