Velious Woodsmans?

Hey folks! Been messing around with my ranger off and on in the little time I've had to play over the past several months. I've just hit 45 and am enjoying the new proc and clicky stuff I can now use =)

I've been using the Woodsman staff since lvl 20 and while its very powerful its very....very boring. I've recently picked up a swarmcaller, lupine dagger and a defiance to mess around with dual wielding.

It's very unlikely I'll ever get my epic, so I was curious: is there anything in velious be it 2h or dual wielded that I can get in the future to replace the Woodsman? I've seen a huge amount of 12/24 and similar proc items along with the velious lances that are eventually dirt common as well.

You can solo much of the epic up to Swiftwind and I've seen the Pulsing Green Stone that will get you Swiftwind MQ for as low as 30k. That will only get cheaper - so I wouldn't give up on offhand epic at least. Unless you're rich or in a guild that does inny and lucky the mainhand epic will probably need to wait for hate 2.0.

Something like fayguard parrying dagger or Frostbringer + Swiftwind would be great DPS-wise.

The exquisite velious 2hers are 32/36 if I remember right. That beats the woodsman staff, but will probably be more expensive.

I suppose more leveling wouldn't hurt either lol...Soloing just gets so freaking boring =)
