Do we really want players on red that get upset by ooc when they can turn that off? Eq players are so sensitive lol.

Put a 5 minute cooldown on ooc, that is attached to your ip so people cant log over to alts. Make each ooc post a certain limit...

OOC is a little much. But turning it off when your LFG or trying to auction stuff sucks.

Hm! This simple measure might just solve it. This would force people's flame wars into /tells; yet still allow auctioning as well as advice for newbies; and it would even allow people to say one thing after PvP. (You decide whether it will be "GF" or "fgt.")

So, the problem isn't "Waa I have to read garbage in OOC;" it's "These people are not fun to play with." In my opinion, it's the perception of the playerbase that we're working on here. That is what makes players want to be part of Red (or not).

global ooc is needed for trading, ports and LFG. without it red would feel barren.

if people complain about some trolls in /ooc I wonder how bad they're gonna cry when someone kills them on a corpse run

Can't have it both ways. Just ignore the people that are rustling you if it's really that bad (it isn't).
