Just a few ideas expanding upon held items instead of melee weapons. Not sure of your price range but a few can be obtained easily on a low budget. Let me reword my question... If you have a Druid between level 20-45, what primary weapon do you use or what do you have in your primary slot?

Druid weapon dps is low. If you want to melee, make a shaman and buy a granite face grinder or a poison wind censer. Or, if you really wanna melee make a ranger or paladin if you still like to cast.

To answer your question, you could also look at the wiki. Click on equipment, equipment by class and then equipment by slot. Then go through 2hb, 1hb and 1hs. Once you open one of those, click on the dps column header to sort weapons by dps. After looking at all the highest dps druid weapons, do the same with shaman or even a paladin/ranger and see the difference in dps. Druids are ass at melee because of weapon availability, armor type and weapon skills 8)

Not many people do this quest since it's mid-level, but I have seen it sold between 550 and 2kpp.

A good price for this would likely be closer to the 550 price because this is not that difficult to get after level 45. 2k is pretty ridiculous.
