![]() I feel like I should know this beyond a shadow of a doubt but ...
If a song requiring an instrument has .... Haste, does the instrument modify the haste? Ie the v2 50/60 song haste is brass modified. Is this a flat 5/10% respectively or will popping a horn modify it? For this song: http://wiki.project1999.com/McVaxius%27_Rousing_Rondo ... will equipping brass modify the haste percentage, or just the str/attack/DS component? If a song requiring an instrument has ... A slow component, does the instrument modify the slow percentage? For example ... the level 60 slow/dot that lasts a full minute has 31% slow and a dot component. If I equip a horn, I know the dot part will be amplified, but what about the slow? Having a 60% slow that lasts a full minute ... likewise would be nice. I know that for snare songs with an instrument potential, the instrument does modify the snare component, just not sure on the slow.

![]() My understanding is that instruments modify all songs. So if the song requires haste and says 10% haste, with a vendor horn it would be 20% haste. I could be completely wrong on this, but for songs that don't require instruments this is how it works.

![]() A good example of song that does not obey that rule, however, is the 55 hp/mana regen song. That song is strings, but the mana regen component does not get amplified by a stringed instrument.
So regarding snare, the answer is obviously yes. Haste? Slow? Anyone have a hard answer? My hope is that the answer to both of those is yes [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

same with slows...not mod'd by haste. the other effects on the slow songs (like snare, dot damage, etc.) do get mod'd. | |||
