Yes, I enjoy Boar's Head Whole Milk Yellow American. American gets a bad rap - it can be done well. I think cheddar on a burger is awful - you need something creamier like American or Muenster.
Bun is cheap but was just fine. I'll toast buns sometimes depending what I have. Meat has diced onions, pressed garlic, dijon, ketchup, worcestershire, pepper, salt, and egg all worked through it before pattied - delicious
