![]() I dunno if I'd hold out much hope, man. I apparently got banned sometime yesterday for a RMT transaction in which I did NOT engage. It's possible that one or more people are hacking accounts in order to use them to do RMT and avoid the ban on their own accounts. This evidently happened on my account entirely without my notice, so it could have been the case on yours, too.

![]() If you really were just afk, then you shouldnt' be banned anyways as far as I understand. I believe the wording is something like: "afk camping is frowned upon, but not bannable. If you are caught you will be booted to char select."
So, the worst thing that could have happened if you were afk and looked to be afk camping is that you get booted. Though, if you go afk with a pet up in a kos area, that's essentially afk camping. Still, though, if what you're saying is true it sounds like you shouldn't be banned, regardless.

![]() from what I read on eq2flames this sort of random bans is fairly commonplace. Just remember, this is an emulated server, don't expect the same level of service as eqlive - ie the people who run the server don't care about you. As they have indicated before - p1999 would continue development even if nobody played.
There are also enough diehard "need classic eq loot" fanbois vocal enough to trust/defend devs that gm decisions can not be contested by the community. It's just the facts of life. | ||
