I also loved how the gear was so customizable. Just make mods/armorplating/barrels/hilts or w/e with the stats you wanted, and plug it into the gear that looked the coolest. My gunslinger looked like The Dark Knight Rises' Bane for awhile, and still had top-end raid gear stats. Sure helped me feel "ok" with myself since top-end raid gear at first had smugglers wearing stilettos. Back to Neverwinter though, the game has always looked appealing to me purely based on the eye candy graphics with the DnD lore. Didn't know if it was riddled with bugs/glitches like some other releases. I'm definitely not thinking it would replace p99. I'm not naive enough to think a modern mmo would have such a raw feeling (no in game maps, penalties from death, brutal CR, etc) like p99. If someone did make a game like that then holy shit I would be pumped. I'd play it all the way until it failed because the lazy MMORPG players out there today would have a complete shit fit the moment they pressed, "m," and a map didn't appear to tell them where to go and what to do when they get there causing them to cancel their subscription.
