Yea, that's the thing - it's a modernized version of classic to better suit 30 year olds instead of 13 year olds (queued /tell's, higher resolutions, keep bard selos root break fixed at vanilla launch, item links from vanilla launch, and so on).
Zoning pets I could see drama causing and a bit of OP, but at the minimum, I believe they should take away the charm poofing. I'd love to play a mage again, but just like everyone else thinking the same, why would we? Spend 50% of your mana and 5 minutes summoning a pet, buffing it, giving it weps, to have it poof, effortlessly, by a bard or chanter.
Yea every class has their "oh shit they're gonna kill me" class, but it shouldn't be a click poof like this. This should be patched asap so we can finally let mages have a chance on this server without being epic.
