Why does it feel like there is an unanswered "why?" that applies here? Is this a rare instance of someone being a dickwad for literally no reason or was this retribution?

I had never seen or talked to this guy ever before until this encounter, thats what baffled me is someone in DaP went out of his way to be an A-hole to me for no reason. The message you see in my picture was the first words I ever said to him, asking him to please not kill bosec cause i was in the middle of my turn in

Maybe he had a spat with you on another character?

A lot of folks in DaP have mains or alts in other guilds.
