Have all the Fire Beetles been killed? Don't worry more will spawn.

type it into the wiki, theres a ZEM zone list... if not, just think of popular leveling zones, its basically those + Kedge Keep [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
Not really.

Befallen, Solusek's Eye, Najena, and Kaesora all have solid ZEMs (over 100, compared to the base outdoor ZEM of 75). Befallen's ZEM is one of the highest of the game, in fact, at 160. Najena's is also very good at 130, and it's usually empty.

City of Mist, one of the most popular leveling zones in the game, has a mediocre 85 ZEM, as does Karnor's Castle.

Popular leveling zones are a tautological loop. They are popular because everyone is there, and everyone is there because they are popular.

They have a higher ZEM due to the added risk, people would rather solidly kill over and over for hours on end chipping away at xp than dying first pull and spending those hours on a nasty corpse run

This. It's been 15 years, people hunt in the same zones because they are the best places to level for various reasons. There are no secrets left in this game.

The loot is decent for the level, but the trivial loot code mixed with wide level ranges makes gear drops problematic.
this isn't a thing on P99

I get trivial loot code messages all the time on R99. I went in there with my druid thinking I would be able to farm stuff, and it didn't work. That's why I moved an alt in there.

What are the messages? Trivial loot code should never been implemented here, on live it was specific to the roleplaying server.

Away for work till tomorrow, I'll check then for the exact message. But there's a yellow system-type message saying that the mob was not challenging enough for your party, and you don't get anything other than basic loot (coin and junk).

It was on all servers in the Warrens.

Huh, color me surprised. I never remembered that and I spent a lot of time in the Warrens, but I guess it was all on appropriately leveled characters. Weird!
