Question Why does empire promote ignorance ?

Put simply, I am sick and tired of some particular empire members spamming ooc chat, ranting about how they are the best player or players on the server, linking leaderboard records for up to a year ago, the same item they received from their guild over and over.. Challenging anyone to a duel but not actually duelling them...

When anyone speaks up about it they are attacked by other members who are friends with the people talking ignorantly in ooc...

My questions are to the leadership of empire,

Do you not discipline your members for aggravating other people on the server ? Do you think their behaviour is acceptable and does not require any action taken ? Do you think they promote server health or discourage it ?

I remember on live such behaviour time and time again would result in guild suspensions and eventually removals indefinitely for the betterment of the guild and server as a whole...

Why do people like gong show take the time to post articles about how their 2hb weapon is not procing correctly but turn a blind eye to such activities going on and on unchecked ?

I may be wrong but last time I checked a guild leader had responsibilities to the guild and server and to its members to grow and strengthen and flourish in the community and praise and Punish those that deserved as such...

Honestly I didn't care what people said about empire coming here from live I set out to find out myself.. Worst guild leadership I've ever seen and extremely toxic members that chase people away with their ignorance and annoyances.

Not sure why the core of empire does not disband and remake and elect new officers... Not like you guys need strats on a 15 year old game.. Maybe then you would have a guild leader with a spine and some balls to promote server health

Is this a serious question? If youre playing on this server I'm assuming youre not new to everquest, and if you've been playing for any amount of time and havent figured out how raiding guilds work you're incredibly dense. Raiding is about numbers. You only need a few competent people to corral all the retards to get shit done in EQ. That isnt to say the rest of the people arent important, they just play a small enough role in encounters that a toddler with developed motor functions could stand in for them if necessary.

The important thing for raiding guilds is having the numbers. It doesnt matter how good you are, you're not downing end game mobs with a couple groups. So once you have a base of decent players you just have to mass recruit to round out the roster. It doesnt matter how smart or good the players are, just that they show up and perform the simple task assigned to them (e.g. turn on auto attack, click heal, etc).

This is not a new or unique phenomenon. Empire has some great players, but out of necessity they have some morans as well. If you're not willing to put up with idiots you're never going to kill end game content, because creating a raiding guild that consists of only decent people is about as realistic as your high school english teacher finally getting that novel they've been working on published.

Empire leadership has actually done a pretty impressive job keeping all their members from starting internal drama as far as I can tell. The pixel pinata probably helps, but keeping a roster of 200 people from cannibalizing each other isnt a simple task. The job of guild leadership is the keep the guild functioning, not enriching the game experience of some rando who happens to play on the same server.

So in particular they NEED these 2 or 3 toxic members in order for the other 200 not to fall apart ? I doubt that... And I'm sure they could discipline those members for their actions instead of letting them spit, fart, piss, shit and jizz all over OOC chat...

That's my point.
Why ?
Why do you get to act he way you do without discipline ?
What makes you so special ?
Why do you disrupt the majority of the community on a daily basis ?
Why do you act like this ?
