Newsflash: SolA is hard to get xp if the zone is populated. 20min respawn time isn't exactly ideal. Just a FYI to people looking to go there.

Personally think Mistmoore zone in mobs are more efficient. Straight hitters, no surprises.

In Oasis, I've always found Orcs to be a better group, simply because there's rarely a shortage of them, even with a group at the shrine and another at the invisible wall. Actually pulling a steady stream of crocs (of the right level) was always a problem for my groups.

When I was leveling up my necro a couple months ago mistmoore was almost always packed and sola was almost always empty (aside from some higher levels camping kindle or something else.) The spot I suggested has endless pulls even for a group full of 30's. The zone is huge, and if you can get a solid group, can be one of the best zones for XP at that level in the game.

Indeed. From what I saw a group is necessary. If I manage to get one going, I will take your advise for sure. Only thing is often times it is a pain in the butt to get one rolling, especially in a often deserted zone. With mend being the way it is atm, it's just too tempting to not attempt to solo for 2-3% per kill (At lvl 26)

Is this a monk guide or am I reading the mage/enc/necro/druid guide?

South Karana is for druids and queers. HHK is where it's at for level 25-30. People should be begging you to join them, they'll want you to pull. I was in groups with monks there from 25-30, we kicked serious ass. Sometimes we even had 2 monks, total beat down!

Oasis is for solo mages who like to kill yellow and red crocodiles and leave none left for you. IMO, go to High Pass. Tons of Orcs/Gnolls in the level 12-20 range here, and a chance at better loot.

You can head to Upper Guk as early as level 15. There's better loot to be had there too, LIGHT weight loot. And if you need magical gloves boots, this is your zone.

MM is a clusterfuck. It might be worth spending time there in your 30s, but I would avoid it otherwise. Buncha hosers bitching at each other about trains non-stop.

Aye... almost every time I started a sola group I only invited people who had 3 or more hours to play. I don't think it would be too hard though, I was making the groups back when the server pop was around 300 at peak.

This thread has helped. Tonight I'm gonna see who is LFG and try to throw together a SolA group or run my ass to Highkeep. I wonder how high I can get before I stop my 1 lvl per day rate. Probably tonight since I am 0% into 26 and have to hit up the dentist after work.
