This is also an issue with the spiders themselves in the tunnels. If you don't baby them when you pull them around a corner they'll go through walls, fall out, and return with like 20 mobs from the TT arm.
To be fair, this isn't Velious-specific; I've seen it happen in lguk a lot too.
