If all else fails, install WinEQ2 lite. It's legal here and resolves a lot of issues, including memory error issues. Follow direction to set it up, I believe they are included, or on the website.

No, it's... like a shell to run it in. You install titanium first. Then install WinEQ2 and point it to your EQ exe file. Then you run WinEQ2 and launch EQ thru it. I've been using it for like 10yrs. Lots of people use it here. It's mostly eliminated crashes, though a few in recent months with some zoning, but never once in the zone.
