Dald, do you have an explanation for what happened to me in Seb? Mob was charmed when we gave our weapons to him. Would like to avoid this happening again if you know a solution.

Only thought is maybe no drop weapons? It is slightly possible the person handing the item needs to be the charmer too, dunno if I've tested that.

Typically it's people using quest mobs or giving items to uncharmed NPCs which have issues recovering the item from the mobs corpse.

I've been slowly duoing in Sebilis and I've yet to have a weapon get eaten.

Its beginning to sound like a zone specific bug, that is if weaps and items were given after charming. Curious if the type of charm, fixed duration vs normal, changes anything. How about an update Fox?

Also, I've confirmed that this droid tablet running Ice Cream Sandwich is too dated to load videos from Twitch. My tablet running Jellybean has no such problem.

This is not the case. I have given a springwood club to a Teriling charmed by someone else and got it back after we killed it.

So is Boltran's there is no fixed (charm last longer) charm

Allure is way less mana (245 vs. 400) but has a slightly higher cast time 6sec vs. 4sec

Allure Target cap is level 51 npc's which works wonders for the Rat maze cause the highest level Rat is the Teriling's at level 49, the Ratling's the lowest level rat in the maze I believe are 46

Boltran's target cap is level 53

I'm by no means nor do I pretend to be a "Pro" enchanter and consider myself to still be learning the class at best id call myself a "Intermediate" enchanter but so long as the target isn't above level 51 I see really no benefit to useing Boltran's for the extra 155mana tacked on. Perhaps ill test it a night or two and see if average charm duration lasts longer /shrug

But anyway thread of off topic, Ive already farmed myself TWO replacement sets of deadwoodstaves / rings. But the question remains these are non-kos NPC's and they are not Quest NPC's if handed items during charm (or) even possibly if charm broke right as i hit the Give button to be truely classic shouldn't the NPC still drop the item once killed later?

If it was classic that you could hand Non-KOS monsters items and they would weild them / drop them. Why then does P99 have it in a un-classic state that the monster MUST be charmed at the time the item is given in order for the monster to add it to their drop table inventory

Excellent question! Maybe Dald or Sorn have some insight into this?

Charmer was the person handing the pet the weapons, they both were droppable. I can't figure out a reason why they wouldn't be returned upon a death to a PC.
