I have created a youtube channel dedicated to songs about our beloved GM Sirken and the plight of surname censorship on Project 1999. For those who do not know, there is an ongoing misunderstanding between myself and the staff on the surname "Wu'Tang". "Wu'Tang Clan" seems to keep getting brought up as the reason I cant have it, but clearly with out "clan" there is no copy right infringement and the name is actually in reference to martial arts and an area of China known as the Wu'Dang Mountains. I was granted this surname only to have to have it striped by another guide who shall remain nameless My latest cover is "Angie" by the Rolling Stones - reimagined as "Sirken" I hope you enjoy! Please feel free to petition in game and let the staff know that this unjust surname censorship has all gone on long enough and the server demands that I have Wu'Tang. Forget the clan part... Wu-Tang ≠ Wu'Tang. Not sure about the references you mentioned, but as far as I've gathered over the years, Wu-Tang is a direct reference to one of the many kung fu films that influence their names and the whole wu tang mantra. Pretty sure "Wu'Tang" is something you just made up!
