Back in the day, it was also classic that there was no walking/running leg animation while the drums were being played. So basically, when the drum playing "guitar" animation was going, the legs were perfectly stationary and you were, in effect, ice skating during the animation.

This. I was disappointed when I started here and saw they had fixed the leg animation.
