This is the post in response to the quote you cherry picked and provided not context for. Yes, the drop rate is accurate for Luclin Launch patch era, not for 90% of Velious. Keep in mind we are still in May of 2001. This nerf shouldn't happen until November/December 2001 which we currently have those drop rates on.
That aside all the evidence indicates big Glonk, Grink and Treasure Chests should drop thrones, before and after this nerf. |
Can confirm. Idk what PoM is like on p1999 since I dont play here but thrones in PoM1.0 dropped very regularly. Puppets were basically 50/50 and a lot could be cheesed solo. AiW4 dropped them like candy. I also played on solro but unlike the person in the guild Darkblood who posted that thing quoted above, I was actually up to date with progression during velious. I feign flopped up there sometimes but it was kept on lockdown by Paradigm who was the #1 guild on Solro. They ALL had mr flowers and the bps and shit. I was cool with their necros and one in particular, Squrt, showed me all the tricks and stuff. The zone was nerfed a week or 2 after I figured out how to get there, and once it was changed to Pom1.5 Paradigm literally abandoned the zone because of how shitty the drop rates got. It took me like 6 months to get my bp and all my flowers with the 1.5 droprates and that was w/ trading. Hopefully not more than 4 or 5 people are tryin to get flowers or bps on p1999 gl guise
