![]() Hi all,
I know I've said many times that I'm planning to get on P99, but I've always started then have "forgotten" about it with my other games. I have some boredom and only 2 weeks left of work before my position ends (I work summer school), I'm very tempted to get into EQ again mainly for the social aspect and the fact that I'm always fascinated with quests, they are usually so much fun. Will I have decent performance under wine? dual core skylake i5 w/ 8GB RAM and Intel HD 520 graphics. Thanks again.

![]() I'm running it using wine 1.9 on Linux Mint. It was tricky to setup (check the technical discussion, I needed to turn off the vertex shaders in the .ini file). I don't really play much I just like to log in and check out the maps.

![]() Version 1.7.23 works for me, newer versions didn't.
If you ever find a way to lock the mouse in the EQ window, let me know ... this can be super annoying.

![]() I'll try some more this evening after work.... It was opening up and immediately crashing for me yesterday.

![]() I don't play here anymore, but on the other server I was on I was finding that I was getting really bad performance in the Field of Bone.
Found out that setting GLSL=DISABLED and Offscreen Rendering Mode=Backbuffer significantly improved my performance and framerate
