For Christmas when I was 9 or 10 I asked for a super Nintendo. I was given a Sega Dreamcast instead and I didn't even know it existed. My aunt (who was raising me at the time) said she got talked into it from the employees at the store over the Snes. I actually really enjoyed it, but could NEVER find any games for it. Literally no store had them. I had to find obscure specialty stores just to get something. Even my local blockbuster didn't carry any Dreamcast games.

To answer the original question though I'd take Snes over the Genesis. Although both had their merits.

I'm working on it. It can take time to decipher the meaning behind what the artists intent was, as I am sure you well know.
Oh, yes, of course I do! Although some things are just meant to be appreciated too ^^ I will have to give this some more thought.

So many good times with my Genesis...

Golden Axe 1 & 2.... Mortal Kombat.... Sonic 1-2-3-Knuckles.... Thunder Force 3 & 4 ("Lightening" Force)... SF2 Special Championship Edition... Altered Beast... Revenge of Shinobi... Disney's Aladdin and countless others...

Then attaching a Sega CD and playing Sonic CD... Final Fight CD (the best home version)... Sewer Shark... Mortal Kombat... Lunar: The Silver Star...

So much fun.

Best of all, I also had a SNES, so all the SNES greats were to be had as well.

Mind blowing fact -

Playstation came out BEFORE N64.

Nintendo.... running their company into the dirt since 1996

Ahh most might say it's for casual adults. There are many group oriented games.
