The earth staff you need was only dropped by Inny for the longest time. The time line should be at the point now where Magi, a mini in Hate, has a chance to drop it. So it's not nearly as bad but iirc the drop rate might be iffy.
You might also run into problems with getting the crown from the last isle in Sky. I don't know how many guilds still run it weekly and even then how many actually clear that far. It could be safe to assume with how much time numerous guilds did run it for, that there are still a fair number of crowns floating around on bank alts.
