How important is Charisma for Enchanters in P1999? I started a new Enchanter and I'm not sure with the current state of P1999 if I need to start working towards CHA or INT gear.

CHA is much more important for a few reasons. Raising INT buffs max mana, but you'll almost never be max mana. Enchanters instead rely on mana regen from their buffs and mana tapping NPCs. They also rely on charm for DPS, and charm requires high CHA. So focus CHA starting at about level 12.
