Miscellaneous: Standard Project 1999 UI causing crashes

Navigate to the uifiles/default folder within your Everquest Directory and copy the files from the following zip into it:
Http://www.project1999.org/files/uichanges.zip

Is anyone else having consistent crashes of the EQ client when using this UI?

I was pulling my hair out last night trying to figure out what was causing it on my wife's PC, and eventually determined (by using the VeliousUI instead), that when using this UI, her PC crashes almost instantly after logging in (post character selection).
