To add one more thing, experience comes much slower than WOW. Increasingly slower per lvl as you rise and even has a few of what we all call "Hell lvls" where it just seems to drag on [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]. It makes for a much better experience in game play IMHO and the groups you join can become wonderful memories for a life time [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]. I hope you enjoy it.

It really depends. If you have an open mind and patience, then I definitely think you could enjoy it. I brought 3 friends over who had never played EQ. Two people (husband and wife) enjoyed it. The third person (WoW player) complained a lot, but he even stuck around until mid 30's, a full six months of playing twice a week. He did not like how hard/unforgiving the game is. The game is a lot better played with people, and if you can find others that can help you in learning the ins and outs of the game.
