yes but remember that the exp is still split up between the group, so it's +40% more exp but that is to the total exp and is split between you and your duo partner.
I think. Sometimes it's still better to solo exp. but if you play a pet class you can have someone afk in your group and pet kill everything since grouping removes the pet penalty.
