![]() Epic and puretone disc should affect the L32 song mana/pulse correct? But it shouldn't affect the L55 mana regen rate?

![]() I haven't found the patch, it may have been a stealth change, I did find a rant by Thott about it here:
http://www.afterlifeguild.org/Thott/retune.php "Since Luclin shipped, FT has increased from 1, possibly 2, to 15. FT 0->15 is an enormous leap in power for casters and hybrids...yet FT doesn't work on bards. FT is a straight up, across the board, large jump in power for all casting classes...except bards. Has mob power increased along with FT? Nope. Many times bards/enc have joined groups, adding mana needed for the group to kill without downtime. Now that mana is available to all. Bard/enc mana is no longer necessary to avoid downtime. Bards lost relative power due to FT itself, and lost power due to secondary effects from FT. What changed with bards? Nothing, bards were forgotten. " possibly more to come. Astuce

![]() You know, I've always read that statement from Thott as a metaphor indicating that increasing mana regen with Flowing Thought impacts every caster class a ton except for bards because bards' songs are not reliant on mana for the most part.
However, maybe he "literally" meant that FT does not affect bards. I actually emailed Thott in the past about that statement, based on some email address I found online, but he never responded.

![]() Anecdotal evidence, but I clearly remember not being allowed to bid on:
http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=10269 because it had FT3 and it was made only available to casters in our guild and the FT portion would be "lost on bards". I really hated fighting that big wurm event haha. Astuce

![]() Yeah FT change for bards came in luclin but wasnt even a huge deal until fading memories.
Unrelated but Thott's post saying velious era casters could hope for ft1 or 2 at best proves once again that FT should not stack. There were practically no tunare kills but still plenty of FT1 and 2 items which from what i understand becomes FT3 on p99. You could never stack FT 1, 2 and 5 to get 8 during velious. Edit: last post reminded me...put burrower parasite event in west wastes after patches are done. Hes basically the next level after AOW with classic graphics and loot. Make it a crazy rare random spawn in cave blocked by DTers so you have to do the event right
