When you put this in with the whole picture (all weapons/shield/held item etc + ) it is a very nice option. With a new age computer/TV screen ( 4k even) the stuff is noticeably different in game compared to what is already seen above in these screenshots. Everything is smoothed out and no jagged edges. Looks great in motion.
- Only thing that I can see here that really sticks out is the halfling face. Due to the eyes. That remake really fixed it up. The screenshots to me are... LEFT SIDE: blurred / choppy RIGHT SIDE: crisp and clear. I do see the robe thing mentioned... like - SMR (purple robe) -- The **black looks lighter on the right (HD pic) and belt. Should be jet black ** But after checking it out in game the black is not that light (if someone not on a 4k screen can double confirm this + ill post a screenshot if want) and the belt seems better then that pic. So I believe when you took the pic on that robe somehow you got a light source projecting off you or something in the right pic which makes it seem light black instead of dark jet black. Quote:
Now the right side is still way clear and the detail is nice . Just tucking the belt or removing would be ideal. Sign @Sorn up for some work tho : ) took the glassy out of the eyes of the halfling and really touched it up nicely. How do you do that and get it to You in useable form... paint? Quote:
That DE armor on the left (you can really see the detail difference from behind just not in that shot) What you see in the left side shot is a blurred mess. Like look at the legs. Now with the chest piece on the left has black spots running down it... It is fixed on the right. With the DE plate on the right side (High def Dark elf) it is 100% almost a double better version. If you give it a shot You will see. * I would bet on more people saying the right side is crisp and clear and the left is not detailed and in some cases is a blurred mess. Speak up if ya read this.

The redone monk textures I'm gonna leave as-is unless someone (*cough* Sorn *cough*) wants to redo those to be more classic. If total classic consistency is your thing, then Cucumbers' textures will better suit your needs - I'll be posting screenshots of these as well. The package I'm putting together that includes all of the remade-by-hand stuff is going to deviate a little bit from the purest of classic aesthetics, but collaborators are definitely welcome. Also, we've now more or less figured out that we'll be able to make all of the new textures work with *zero* compression. At least, we're pretty sure. Meaning these textures will all look noticeably better, and I'll post some better screenshots once we figure that out. | |||
