Honestly, I suggest you get over the fact that you had a bad run to get that spell, and "get back on the horse". As anyone who can tell you in this game, you win some, you lose some. Everyone in this game can say that, even the most harcore people in guilds that begin with "A".

My first character was a Eruidte Cleric, quickly deleted when I couldn't see a thing at night and changed to a High Elf cleric and never looked back.

Nothing beat the Faydwer newbie experience. Don't know how anyone played a troll/ogre back in 1999.
