![]() Hello,
I rolled my enchanter not remember exactly about the stats. I put 15 points in INT and 15 in CHA I am now level 6. I read on the enchanter page that I should put 25 into CHA and 5 into STA or INT. Should I really reroll for that 10 points? What do you guys think? I know 1-6 is not that long, but I don't have a ton of time to play either. Thanks

![]() Up to you but I think you're just fine as is. Gearing for cha is pretty easy and cheap. At some point you'll max out cha and start trading out for int/sta stuff anyways. But you could be level 6 again in now time if you restarted.

![]() What race did you go with? if you went with High Elf with the highest starting charisma the 15 int/ 15 charisma should be fine. If you went any other race with a lower starting charisma you may want to re roll for the 25 char/5 int. I've always found that I don't die on a chanter by running out of mana but from a poorly timed charm break.
At the end of the day though these are more min/max suggestions. Enchanters are an extremely strong class and self buffed you should get to 225 plus charisma without too much issue and charm just fine. Good luck!

![]() Thanks. I rerolled just to make sure. The guide on the wiki seems to suggest that it's harder to max CHA than INT.
Rerolled 25 CHA / 5 INT as suggested for a casual player.

![]() I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you started out as a dark elf or gnome. Even then 10 points isn't likely to make much of a difference in the long run. Like Nostalgiaquest said cha gear is pretty cheap so you should be fine. Also don't buy into the sta thing, 5 sta is like 12 hps or something at level 60. You might be better off putting it into str just to make life better for carrying loot to sell at lower levels (again depending on race).

![]() I think i only put 10 points into CHA when I made my toon, self buffed I have 190CHA and run into no problems really.

![]() If you're not CHA capped and you plan on being a charm oriented enchanter. Then you shouldn't be playing enchanter at all.
People who make these claims about not being CHA capped or near cap and having zero problems are fucking liars. (if you think you're not a liar and I'm a jerk for calling you one. Let's go hunting together you charm and i'll count the pet breaks.) Level 60, -MR on pet, 250-255 CHA(buffed). That is your goal. --- You never mentioned what race you are playing. I recommend erudite for all caster classes except necromancer. Their superior int stat puts you miles ahead of all other casters at the get go.

![]() Often times not having issues with charm breaks is due to knowing what to charm and what not to.

![]() Unbuffed I have 140 into and 200 Cha at level 54, which brings me to 240 Cha and soon to be 250 self buffed. I have never had any issues, intelligence doesn't effect mana regeneration spells do, and often with C2 and theft of thought my mana pool is completely sufficient, rarely oom. So I am a proponent for maxing Cha, however the biggest effect to charm will be mob level and MR.
